@legallyhealthyblonde
I am a bubbly and vibrant private events chef and content creator who makes mouthwatering meals and shares inspiring recipes online.
The recipes on my food blog, Legally Healthy Blonde, have been featured in The Washington Post, Thrillist, Huffington Post, as well as on a live cooking demonstration on Fox & Friends, and more. In my online recipes and my private catering menus, I focus on elevating fresh, seasonal ingredients centered around plant-forward and pescetarian meals. My formal training at the Institute of Culinary Education in their Health-Supportive program has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to make impressive, wholesome food.
While I now call New York City my home, I grew up in the lowcountry of South Carolina, where I learned to love fried shrimp and a good tomato mayo sandwich. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Clemson University (go tigers!) and I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Food Studies at New York University.
My passion for food has brought me many adventures as well as challenges, and I hope to continue cooking for others, trying new foods, and expanding my reach in tandem with my knowledge.
“Food is everything we are. It’s an extension of nationalist feeling, ethnic feeling, your personal history, your province, your region, your tribe, your grandma. It’s inseparable from those from the get-go.” —Anthony Bourdain
